Blackwell Unbound is a prequel to The Blackwell Legacy. Lauren Blackwell is a medium who, with the help of her ghostly companion Joey, helps ghosts move on to the next world. While investigating the deaths of two ghosts, she comes across an elderly homeless woman, who calls herself the Countess, who may have played a role in their deaths. The Countess claims to be a fellow medium who is also helping ghosts move on. Lauren must investigate the true identity of the Countess.
