BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

The game is visually amazing, with some of the nicest sprite animation you'll see in any game. Every character also has a unique gimmick that sets them apart from the other. On the other hand, the roster at this point in time is puny and the story is hilariously stupid. There's barely a neutral game in BB due to everyone being able to create pressure from half-way or full-screen, combos can be stupidly long, and character designs can be awful. Solid title, but not the best fighter ever.
