The mix of mechanics is like some weird Mugen ass shit where characters in a specific archetype are clearly worse than the other and it's all just incongruous with one another. The SF characters are overly dependent on meter while the DS cast have far more versatile options with mobility and guard cancelling. The hitstun and blockstun in the game are too low to the point any sort of aerial is unsafe unless you go balls deep, which is super lame when characters like Yun are reliant on divekicks.
