While the visual style is interesting, its use of perspective makes it difficult to determine hitboxes which often makes platforming and combat nauseating. The RPG mechanics forces this game to be a grind fest because numbers are so bloated that it's near impossible to win if you don't grind for health items. Worse of all, the combat is just boring - little freedom in magic use, a mostly useless dodge mechanic, and the basic attack is limited to a 3-hit combo with no variance whatsoever.
