I do have 1 friend who will never play this again because of 1 rule, "Exploding" dice. When you roll dice to fight 5/6 is success. 6 is a critical which you get to reroll. He lost because on the last turn 2 players hit a total of like eight 6's that resulted in another success. He had the win so locked up and a streak of dice so hot Vegas would accuse us of cheating killed him. Here in lies the problem with all combat that relies on dice. Game is still pretty cool though.
