Dark Souls: Remastered

Cool

A masterclass in exploration. Notice a detail in one part of the game that may hint towards a secret in another. Go try it out, it works. The game doesn't care if you miss things which makes it so much more rewarding when you don't. Packaged together with one of the most satisfying combat systems and fragmented world building that makes you desperate to find out more. Wowza

The "You Died" screen poses the fundamental question of leisure. The Remaster’s fidelity only clarifies Lordran's indifference. We push our boulder from the bonfire, only to watch it roll back down. To quit is to "Go Hollow"—philosophical suicide. To respawn is to live in revolt, defying the code’s silence not for reward, but for the struggle itself. The journey towards the fog gate is enough to fill a heart. One must imagine the Chosen Undead happy. - Full Review
