Dreaming Sarah

I like the atmosphere and style of the game, but the title has little substance. The game forces a lot of boring backtracking and the plot is almost non-existant. The devs misunderstood the appeal of Yume Nikki as the game offers nothing for the player to interpret and there was nothing interesting about the dreamscape this game has the player navigate. The puzzle solving and platforming are also one-dimensional - all items only have one purpose, and what you jump on is fairly rudimentary.
