I don't understand how the spin-off is arguably the best EDF. It has varied environments (relatively speaking), some cool musical choices, the chaotic action is still there, it's silly and meta. Picking up new characters makes each level exciting because up until you get them all, there's always a possibility you'll find someone cool. Being able to switch between 4 is awesome. Low-key pleasant social commentary present with global brothers/sisters, as well, not that you come to EDF for that.
