I never imagined that an MMORPG would be able to tell one of my favourite stories in video games, but Shadowbringers has done just this. For anybody reading this who are still struggling through the ARR slog, getting to this point makes it all worth it. This expansion takes it to another level. Shadowbringers brings you the most daring story turns, the lushest worlds, the best music, the best dungeons and the coolest villain of the FFXIV saga to date. The wait for Endwalker is agonising.
