Very good. I played with save states, without them my score would be a lot lower.Good driving, which is useful cause it's the biggest part of the game. Has some flaws like long drives to missions where you die quickly, then have to do the long drive again (a common GTA problem). Also, being forced to re-buy guns which cost more than your mission reward after getting killed At least it's not too hard though so these problems are minimised. Some jank here and there too.

A whole additional game's worth of the series' initial PS2 era gameplay. They've tweaked the GTA III map a bit, but the gameplay, not so much. Given that the missions are of the plainer open world business variety and very by-the-numbers, this largely serves to remind you how many much better takes on the already very creaky controls were out there already at the time. Still, having such a faithful continuation of a four year old console hit as a portable game on PSP was quite a coup.
