Being forced to play this game on a controller makes micro-management cumbersome, and while the pause button alleviates this somewhat, this puts the game into a state where micro-management is a non-issue. The perspective is interesting but little is done with it - verticality doesn't matter at all and the choke points are overly easy to abuse. I can appreciate this game's unique attempt at the RTS genre but ultimately a lot of what made those RTS games great is dumbed down in this title.
