Mika Asagi, who helped Beyond the Grave on his last adventure, revives him again. This time, he has to stop Seed, an addictive drug that's turning innocent people into criminals. Also joining the team are Spike Hubie, a genius kid who has lost his memory, Juji Kabane, a dead man with a "Shoot first, ask questions never" personality and Rocketbilly Redcadillac, a ghost attached to a guitar. Just as stylish and cool as the first game, although with more substance. There is far greater enemy variety and movement feels a lot better, especially since this game requires constant movement more than the last game. However, spamming the side dodge is easily abusable and the early levels are kind of a slog with how easy enemies are to deal with. Still, Boss fights are pretty fun and getting good at this game feels satisfying if you're aiming to get good clear scores.
