Game is very polished. Art style definitely oozes a unique charm. But like all other roguelikes... you're just repeating in an endless grind of dying and restarting over & over again till you have a "good run" from RNG, and defeat the boss and move to the next stage. Spamming OP sub-weapons is way better than spamming your regular attacks (puny dmg & long animation lock) during boss fights.
