Sure, at times this is funny but it also falls into the same trap most comedy games do: if I'm supposed to find this comedic how can I take the gameplay serious? And the gameplay is just tedious first-person fare. Ok, the secondary uses of the guns can be interesting for a bit but really that's all that's good here. Even Roiland's stammering grates.

The shooter mechanics would not be enough to sell this game as anything other than okay, but the humour puts it to the 75. As someone who has never watched Rick and Morty, I can say that the humour works. There are a lot of jokes, and they don't all hit, but I did find myself chuckling enough to consider this a comedic success. I mean, for all the good or bad you can say, at least this game feels different than many other shooters.

Extremely enjoyable if only a tad short. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and casual shooter with silly humour.
