Was this game released as it was envisioned by its developer? Were the poor design decisions due to a time crunch or a complete lack of knowledge? Who knows. But it's not really worth anybody's time to talk too much about it-- there are examples of counter-culture game design (for better or for worse) that are significantly more fruitful to discuss. (Think Killer7, Spec Ops: The Line, and those insane outsider RPGs like Oaxaca.)

It's an astonishing achievement to make a game with literally no redeeming qualities whatsoever. On top of the fact the game is loaded with game breaking bugs that can softlock you, the game has an incredible amount of bad design decisions; confusing, overly large level layouts which give you no direction on where you need to go, controls and options the game does not inform you on, obnoxious bullet sponge enemies, bland setpieces that go on forever, etc. The narrative is also insanely stupid.
