Had I played this when it first came out I would look at it even more fondly than I do, because at the time this would have been my jam. The armor mode is a little clunky--you can shoot diagonally but it feels weird. Still, it's a neat idea being able to change between a mode that shoots straight forward and one with more control. Aside from that, just intense, difficult sidescrolling shooter action.
