I adore the lore and plotlines of this game but the writing is awkward in translation and cutscenes are overly barebones to be great. That aside, the gameplay isn't particularly good. There's barely anything you can do in the planning phase and the inability to gain funds in some circumstance is nauseating given how easily the enemy reinforces itself. There are interesting dynamics at play with terrain and units, but repeating battles constantly gets pretty nauseating and dull.
