Lufia 2 is one of the great RPGs, and while this doesn't stack up to it, it's a worthwhile remake. The action is fine, I do like the story even though they changed stuff up. I'm invested in these characters. Music was very nostalgic for me. But there are annoyances. Too much going to the same places. Having to go to the Ancient Cave more than once. The ending of the original is so iconic and this isn't as good. I guess it just suffers from my connection with the original.
