Being honest, this game sorta pissed me off back in the day and I was legitimately a bit shocked to find out it had some kind of cult hardcore fanbase. My thought when I played it as a huge fan of NES Mega Man and Mega Man X was "this is not a Mega Man game." I've since opened my mind just a bit to some of what it's trying... but it's still not a real Mega Man game to me.
