"A worthwhile retro style JRPG experience - length and depth (of gameplay and story) on par with the likes of FF6 and Chrono Trigger, with even better graphics albeit not on their level musically. Lore of the world obviously had years of thought and development put into it. Mech mechanics at times felt like one gameplay gimmick too many."

"Like a billion courses!"

"Control Wicket the Ewok - blast the shit out of everything. Me gusta"
|4 36%||Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1993) - Dec 10, 2022
"Just a bit too hard and floaty to control to be super enjoyable, although back in the day Star Wars games with even this level of fidelity to the films we’re rare enough it seemed a neat novelty."

|4 36%||Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth (2009) - Dec 10, 2022
"Was somewhat underwhelmed by it - my benchmark for great NES-style 2D platforming Castlevania action is Super Castlevania IV and this falls far short of that."
|4 36%||The World Is Not Enough (2000) - Dec 04, 2022
"Pretty decent as far as N64 era shooters go - until the frustrating final level has you swimming through this dark murky submerged submarine with limited oxygen and poor controls. Overall I’d put it above Turok but far below GoldenEye and Perfect Dark."
|3 22%||Resident Evil 3 (2020) - Nov 30, 2022
"Great game for people who love to spend forever fumbling around a million dark corners looking for whatever dumbass little widget they need to advance. Playing something like this just makes me want to spend the rest of my life playing old ass 2D platformers where the entire goal and objective is “go forward.”"
|2 11%||Romancing Saga 3 (1995) - Nov 29, 2022
"Like a Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest minus most everything that made those series good. Just shuffles you artlessly from dialogue scene to dialogue scene spaced out only by the world’s most generic JRPG battling."
|6 68%||The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD (2021) - Nov 10, 2022
"Stacks relatively low on the 3D Zelda games tier list - still a good game tho."
