Visions of Mana

It's okay across the board, from the action to the music (though there is some good stuff in there) to the story to the visuals. It just doesn't feel magical. Also, it should have been multiplayer.

I have mixed-ish leaning positive opinions. The battle system is pretty smooth and fluid and enjoyable, ably combining JRPG and hack n slash; the items/magic usage more akin to the former mixed well with chopping and weaving and dodging associated with the later. Nice light high fantasy look and atmosphere and world building too. On the other hand we have the usual 82 million unnecessary side quests, countless useless items/classes, and the ambiguous, unsatisfying ending is whack.
