I like a lot of things about MMX, but the endgame is so cluttered with trash mobs that it nearly ruins the experience. Why do developers do this stuff? Do they go "Oh no, we can't release a 43 hour game, we'll get terrible reviews! Let's stuff in a few dozen dark elves and make it a 45 hour game instead!"? Maybe they just couldn't figure out how to make the endgame difficult, so they decided to make it tedious instead. And what's up with the terrible performance?
