On top of the awful art and writing that wouldn't be out of place on Newgrounds in 2005, the game is astonishingly aggravating to play. To its credit, unit dynamics are mildly interesting despite the lack in variety and they do occasionally get clever with battle design, what makes it god awful to play is that battles are often decided upon RNG and when certain battles require you to achieve a specific objective, it gets infuriating. Not to mention it's one-dimensional even without the RNG
