I want to set the record straight: sports games suck. If you like sports games, you also suck. The only way to make sports games not suck is to pump them up with arcade controls and leniency on the rules. Because, and I know this sounds weird, real life doesn't always transfer to video games so well. NHL Hitz cracked this code. It's an absurd 3-on-3 arcade style game with power-ups and simple, easy-to-learn controls. And I love it. Everyone I've made play it has liked it.
