Nuign Specter is a short visual novel story created by Jake Clover in October 2012 using the Game Maker engine. It takes place across fewer than a dozen screens and uses the nameless protagonist to tell a supposedly symbolic story which leaves much to the player's interpretation. It is notable for the complete absence of text, with the exception of one line at the beginning and another at the end. (tvtropes.org)

Sometimes Jake Clover makes absolute crap, but then other times he makes this, an atmospheric and short indie game that basically consists of you walking to one spot while shooting things then going back. But don't let that fool you, this is symbolic and I love the sound design because it makes the violent so abrupt and loud, like a shotgun should be. I have a deep affinity for this game that maybe very few people will ever see. Also, the opening text is epic.
