While I enjoy mainline SMTs more than this because the adventures feels bigger and have better pacing, this is still a lot of fun. Playing adult Pokemon is always a good time. There's a good amount of depth here. Story's fine. Music's fine. I dig the action RPG aspect of it quite a bit, and how easy it all feels to handle. I never played the original so I can't comment on quality of life changes, but this game's smooth.
