Maintains the consistent sense of humor the series is known for,but I've always thought the dungeon crawling RPG's were less enjoyable to play than the strategy games in the series.Still, the combat system is this is neat and the ridiculous situations this game tosses you in is still hilarious. This is when the gameplay in Rance started to get good.Even then, Rance is such a series that even if the game itself is subpar the very character of Rance is so enthralling he can carry sub-par gameplay.
