It's enjoyable, but nothing groundbreaking. I don't like that they restrict the final level of each world based on the number of orbs you collected though. I did as much exploring as I could and still managed to be level gated every world. The first couple worlds it was a small enough difference that I went back and replayed one level to continue, but on the second to last level, the difference would have required me replaying a lot, which just isn't what I want to spend my time with.
