On some level I do think the foundation of the game is decent enough but this is way too kusoge for my liking. The game is hilariously broken with so many dumb infinites that optimal play is to land one hit, drag your opponent to a corner, and do a loop until the time runs out because damage dampening doesn't allow these loops to do damage. For what it's worth, the animation looks damn nice and it captures Basara's style wonderfully, but I could think of dozens of anime fighters I'd rather play.
