You need to have played the Whispered World first to enjoy it, some. Still, it's just a resemblance of the first game. Poor puzzles, great view, depressing story with no important lesson as WW.

The puzzles in this game are braindead as a result of the level design confining itself to 1 or 2 screens at most and neglecting the value of an inventory system. The narrative starts off with weak eyerolling isekai non-sense which does admittedly lead to an interesting plot hook later on, but the side characters end up being extraneous and the direction that hook leads to is kind of a wet fart despites its thematic strength. Gotta say tho, the visuals around the final act were damn gorgeous.
