Not bad, but not great either. At first I was annoyed by some game mechanics choices, but got used to them. The story did pull me in so that's good. Still a little buggy (PC) at this time.

Absolutely brilliant game! I love all of the worlds and space you can explore, and Kay Vess is a great character, and the supporting cast is filled with some really fantastic characters and actors as well. The game does a great job bringing in just enough nostalgia for familiar characters and places while also focusing on delivering its own story in a really captivating way. The worlds also feel so alive! One of the best open world games I've played.

Tries hard to "avoid" the ubisoft open world formula by being a mix of lots of other formulas, e.g. horizon, tsushima, red dead etc. Shitty writing aside, this game surprisingly ends up more than the sum of its mostly average, even sub par (stealth!), parts. There are some great SW-moments here, which makes its buggy, unfinished state and the utterly misplaced politics weigh even heavier. We get it. The farce is female. Everyone's a chick and gay...in a galaxy far, far away.
