Strider II

The first sequel to the original Strider, Strider II was designed by European developer Tiertex and published by US Gold without any direct involvement by Capcom. Strider II was not released in Japan and was shipped to retail exclusively in Western regions. It was initially released in 1990 and later ported, with several changes, to the Sega Genesis, Master System and Game Gear. Strider II was removed from continuity after the release of Strider 2, Capcom's official sequel to Strider, in 1999.
