With the only complaint I can give that it's padded with such filler and grinding that it slows down every strength, Tales of the Abyss is a complex narrative of a world struggling for and against a prophecy in spite of the way it can destroy lives. It has the most unlikable protagonist I've ever come across... that I ended up respecting so highly later. And that's a crown achievement. Solid combat, voice acting, and excellent characters.
