Bio: Air pirate and film critic.

Generally I rate films/shows/shorts as if I was grading a paper. Nothing's ever gotten 100, and most settle in the B- to C+ range, which I generally consider decent.

I've rated a handful of 0's, though.

Rust (2013) - Rated 01 Jul 2025

What a cluster- the game was interesting and passable, they took forever to update it, scapped what they had, all the while servers could be abused for folks that wanted to go godlike. Play it with close friends if it ever gets off the ground, but my lord.

That's not my Neighbor (2025) - Rated 01 Jul 2025

A simpler game that's very much like 'Papers, Please' and a few similar ones- you have a procedure to let people into your building and have to verify through credentials, visual cues, and even dialogue, if they are your neighbors or dopplegangers. Gets repetitive.

Dark. Very dark in story, but therein lies part of the charm. The way it approaches combat is fairly unique and calls for strategy, which is quite welcome.
