Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All

Justice for All constructs a courtroom haunted by the specter. The "Psyche-Lock" acts as a pharmakon, revealing truth not as presence, but as the violent breaking of a seal. Through spirit channeling, the game enacts a crisis of Hauntology, collapsing the living signifier with the dead signified. The binary of Guilty/Not Guilty dissolves into aporia, revealing that Justice is never fully captured by the calculability of Law, but remains an infinite responsibility, forever à-venir. - Full Review

Just as good as the original, feels like a natural continuation.

Somehow both the weakest game in the entire series AND the game that has one of the best final cases ever. I would rate it so much higher if Turnabout Big Top either didn't exist or was written better.

This was such a leap backwards from the previous game in every way

the supernatural elements are much more important in this one, and the whole detective drama feels a bit off as a result (why do psyche locks not appear in court?), but the final case is so far above the preceding eight that i feel it elevates the whole game to a point higher than the first. a small crack in the fabric of phoenix wright's reality goes a long way.

The weakest of the original trilogy but still a pretty good time.
