Threads of Fate

Exudes comfiness from the second the game starts with a fantastic soundtrack that conveys each scene perfectly to the mundane yet charming atmosphere of the town. The gameplay is a bit archaic but still fairly well designed - hitboxes make sense, there's a lot of variety in enemies and level design, and it boasts some good dungeons. Platforming can be a bitch, but it isn't too problematic. Plotwise, I find Rue's story overrated - Mint is a far more enjoyable and memorable protag.
