It's an enjoyable read. Essentially this less of a visual novel and more of an actual book. You read the dialogue (which is very well written) and do some dialogue choices, but your choices make no difference to the outcome of the story. Also you are forced to read through the dialogue while holding down the shoulder button (on Switch Lite at least) and it was not a fun multiple hour exercise for my poor right index finger and strained wrist.
