The GM mode needs a little more oomf, but it gets a c for effort. This is a passable rasslin game, with less bugs and jank than before. The commentary script is, finally, on par with the excellent commentary in the NBA 2k series (love the extraneous Gordon Solie references).

The GM mode is no bueno, but this is overall a shockingly well-playing and -feeling pro wrestling game, without the illegally endless loading times of other recent entries in the series. Discounting sim games, this is the first wrasslin' title I've had positive feelings about for 10+ years. And I don't even like the roster that much!
