Often considered the point where the series started to decline, and I agree with this sentiment. The fighting styles was a neat concept on paper, but this led to some imba crap with powerhouses getting the best quirks. The GM and season mode merged together, but this added nothing to the experiences of either and made both of them worse individually. The micromanaging in season mode was tedious, and GM got more arbitrary restrictions. Smaller things, like the submission system, also got worse.
