In the endless sea of roguelite card games, Wildfrost just barely does enough to stand out and feel both distinctive and worthwhile, but it seriously cuts it close to just being another disposable entry in the genre. The snow theming feels uninspired and perhaps more restrictive than it is beneficial, and the town progression isn't as rewarding as it should be. What edges it into feeling more worthwhile and distinct are its two-lane placement options and its countdown attack/ability timers
