Wizardry 8 is the eighth and final title in the Wizardry series of role-playing video games. Wizardry 8 is played from a "first person" perspective. Movement is fluid, whereas in previous Wizardry games the party moved in discrete "tiles". Brenda Brathwaite was the game's lead designer. Sir-Tech announced that they had no plans to make a sequel. The company later went out of business in 2003.

Probably the best blobber ever made, featuring glorious first person turn-based party combat, exploration, and questing in a big fantasy-meets-SciFi world. Sir-Tech decided to voice every single line of dialogue in this game, at a time when this was highly unusual; they went bust shortly after release. As a result, W8 is still the most expensive blobber of all time. Thankfully the money was well spent; the hilarious party voice sets are highly memorable and have never been matched in quality.
