The story is very interesting and the mechanics are fun, but the gameplay is sooo slooow. The original Wizardries had nicely fast paced battles, but this is the polar opposite, with short loading screens for every single battle, and unskippable animations for all your combat actions. Even the walking speed is slow! On top of that, the encounter rate is extremely high. I played most of the game at 200% emulator speed, which felt more "normal". Grade would be much lower without emulation speed-up.
