The game is a simplified take on the OCG ruleset that limits various mechanics in the card game in lame ways while adding other elements that are baffling. For example, there's an RPS mechanic that often makes stats pointless. The only card effects are flip activation, making automatic activation non-existent for some reason. They also limit a lot of cards in dumb ways, such as monster reborn only able to retrieve the card at the top of the deck. The Pokemon-esque structure is pointless too.
