"Quite possibly one of if not the best shooters ever.Despite being on a controller, the controls feel really tight and concise which makes its creative weaponry all the more enjoyable to use. On top of that, the game has LOADS of content and customization, even boasting a single player campaign that's actually fun (although less so in co-op ironically).I liked this game a bit more than its prequel because the single-player content is more fun while still boasting an amazing multiplayer experience"

"This is an odd game where I found the side activities more enjoyable than the main game itself. The photography elements were really cleverly designed and optional areas were fun to navigate. The main game; however, is really overrated. The main plot is asinine, the puzzles are even simpler than Zelda's, and the combat is even shallower. The stealth sections have some neat puzzle-like elements, but the mechanics of stealth itself aren't stellar and they feel overemphasized in the main game."

"The best title in the series. While it may not boast some of the mechanics of its sequels, what it does well is greatly improve the base FE formula and provide some of the coolest battles in the series. Ike is among my favorite protagonists in FE and the plot in this game is also its finest (although I'd still argue SS' cast is better). Sometimes the game does cheap shit like have the Black Knight spawn and move on the same turn, but otherwise, the game is polished and engaging."

"A laughable joke of a game. Not only does it have no idea how people act or talk in reality but it's hellbent on trying to encourage the player to be offended by every trivial thing imaginable, always with the assertion that everyone is somehow being racist. Not only that, but the game is just...boooooooooooring. All you do is walk around looking for things to offend you (is this what SJW's do in reality?) and you're expected to state why you should be offended by it. Typical SJW trash."

"The best way to describe this game is that it's like the Mona Lisa if it were put onto a broken frame. Mechanically the game feels really good, and there's a lot of neat ways to use assists to complement your combos and pressure game. The art style and sprite work is also really solid, even if a lot of it is recycled and the stage design is mostly boring... however, this is one of the most imba fighters ever. It gets pretty boring seeing people pick the same three characters constantly."

"I don't get the love for this game. There's so much messy shit in it - magic is overpowered and poorly designed, the companion pathing is downright awful, the level design is full of obnoxious padding, and enemies can stunlock you to death. A lot of the game feels lazy - from the palette swap bosses to the bland cookie cutter level design and enemy placement. The game has a lot of charm, but well-designed it is not."

"Millions of adults are extremely nostalgic for this title but their nostalgia of the game clouds what is a fairly dated title. The HM and item mechanics are really pace breaking and obnoxious, while the meta of the game was much more barebones and shallow compared to future titles. The single player experience also feels rather timid compared to what happens in future titles and the game world itself is honestly not that interesting relative to the rest of the series."

"One of the sloppiest fighters I've ever played. Has loads of Kontent, but none of it is good. The Kore Kombat is an absolute mess made even worse by Kreate a fighter. The Kombo system is awful - doing air Kombos has no weight or momentum, and mekhanically every attack feels really stiff. Even the fatalities got butchered with the bland "kreate a fatality" system. Despite some dekent presentation, this game was Konsidered awful even by the standards of MK fans."

"Legit one of if not the best fighter ever. What it lacks in roster size it makes up for in balance, with each character bringing something unique to the game. On top of that, the stage design is fantastic both aesthetically and in practicality which compliments the incredible amount of character customization and the cool atmosphere the game sets up. Mechanically, I don't think there's any 3D fighter that can compare to VF5 - it does so much with so little, and learning the game is enthralling."

"One of the most unique and ambitious JRPGs of all time, but like Takahashi's other projects, it was more ambitious than what his budget allowed for. Still, the storytelling in this title is serene and intriguing, despite how over expository the writing could be at times or the dreadful presentation of disc 2. I dig the combat system, too. While it's not the most deepest battle system in an RPG, there's a good amount of variety in it and pulling off super combos is satisfying as fuck."
