Ratings are hard, given they’re often so much to do with where you are, when you are, who you are. Is the room too hot, the shirt too itchy, are you watching with a devoted fan or sneering hater, do you value or reject their opinions at that point in your relationship, is it 3am, how much sleep did you actually get? How many movies have you seen? In this genre? What were your expectations? Does the actor’s face distractingly remind you of an annoying coworker? What are your personal values? What are your fears? Is the aesthetic too familiar or unfamiliar? Who do you have a crush on? So many subconscious unique associations in our lives…So the premise of this site is excellent, the algorithm transparent and only accidentally skewed secondhand by hype, but it’s wild how PSIs are still only dodgily predictive. Sorry if I hate your fav. 😅🖤
