Bio: Please value the individual score over the percentile in my ratings. I am used to biased MyAnimeList rating styles (tenstar) and I use this system as a more fine-grained alternative. Bias is, if it is just okay to good for me, it will still most likely be >70. Please also consider that I am mixing in objective and descriptive information but many reviews will still be severely individualistic and heavily emotion-driven respective to me. Take everything with at least half a grain of salt.

Still Wakes the Deep (2024) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Really good experience. Horror as it shall be—cosmic and psychologically. Tragic story, well told. The DLC was even better just for me personally as it gave me a few more SOMA vibes even though, this game differs heavily. Looks good, very few enemy interactions that can ruin fun, more of an interactable movie. Unique dread felt. It can be a bit performance hungry even on lower settings. A bit comparable to In Sound Mind. It takes time to get used to the heavy accent spoken.

See Remnant 2 score. No big difference for both DLCs.

Remnant 2 (2023) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Cool game to play with friends. Nothing I'd ever play alone. Nice world design. Cool ambience. My zero passive learning skills and severe attention/reaction deficits made this game just borderline palatable exacerbated by the HORRIBLE performance. The WORST OPTIMIZED GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN. HORRIBLE item discovery design. Stand 5irl-min in this random spot to get archetype X; Ring Y is behind INVISIBLE walls in rare RNG domain Z; Gunfire Games, WTF! Possibility overflow much worse than R:FTA

Remnant: From the Ashes (2019) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Really a cool game to play with your friends. Roaming the world for the first time and encountering certain bosses for the first time felt great but I have literally zero passive learning and severe attention/reaction deficits in these games. Soulslikes are too punishing for my taste. Great great experience with friends yet, no game I'd play alone. Nice story, very nice expansions. Overwhelming and headache-inducing with many builds.

Robocraft (2014) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Really loved this game. Fun fights and close power shifts. The introduction of Battle Arena and The Pit brought great fun. Probably one of the best mixed matchmaking algorithms. They decided to introduce lootboxes at some point and betray their fanbase, added set-in-stone gamemodes that shift over time without players being able to choose. Tragic decision chain that killed a game with much potential. It was tragic how it went down, the game was getting far better closely before it shut down.

The Spectrum Retreat (2018) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Really a cool puzzle game of character unseen to me. The best puzzle game I played to date after Portal 2. Very interesting physics changes just happen towards the end though which I would have longed for for more instances. The game is rather short and CAN have serious performance issues. The storytelling requires it but the 'surface level'/hotel can feel a little inanimate and exhaustively boring but the story told is nice to tune into. I would have wished for more puzzles with grav pads.

Relicta (2020) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Nice puzzle game with quite unique mechanics. There is not much to explain, if you like games like Portal, you will feel well-fed here. However, the game is sometimes paced very extensively and slowly which can make certain sections very repetitive and boring. Might deter you sometimes to come back later because of that. The story is rather drab, my focus was on puzzling. There are further micro stories after the main that you can play to get advanced puzzles after finishing.

Portal 2 (2011) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
One of the very best puzzle games that ever existed. Visually pleasing, great atmosphere, high replayability and franchise hyperfixation-inducing. The physics are really neat and the fact that nearly all chambers gave no time limit is very beneficial. The lower chambers—telling a story long bygone and being quite various to the modern chambers in task and puzzle—were my personal favorite and very refreshing.

Echo Point Nova (2024) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Really really chill movement shooter. It takes Severed Steel to an open world; first chapter was great but felt a little clumsy sometimes when hooking between floating islands. Unexpected update with chapter 2/new gamemode and surface world once more lit this game in my heart and introduced a completely refreshing game. Very nice movement, very flowy, nice music, cool missions, satisfying playstyles and weapons, perks and modifiers and community extensibility.

Arc Raiders (2025) - Rated 04 Nov 2025
Please consider, I just played server slam. But I got what I expected—looting to lose. Just vicious ppl trying to engage senselessly, the PvE is the best thing but sadly unbalanced and annoying, PvP makes this game horrible and unplayable. There is zero motivational reward; just looting for the sake of looting and losing stuff and time because ppl farm elevators without even wanting to extract. Boring walking sim otherwise. Incredibly great soundtrack and sound design though. Big PLUS.
