The story fell off immediately at Chain of Memories, and KH2 follows up by doubling down on the bad writing. Levels are uninspired, huge, empty halls one after another. The gameplay mechanics are undeniably deep for those who wish to dwell into them, but there seems to be little content to explore them on. As far as I've heard superbosses are great, but they require grinding through the whole campaign first, and the journey there is simply not fun.

Kingdom Hearts (2002) - Rated 16 Sep 2026

Definitive PS2 classic. I dislike the direction the series took right after the first installment, but this first entry is magical and fun. Don't be discouraged to check out the rest of the series though. Play the Final Mix version, the PC port is good.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves (2004) - Rated 16 Sep 2026

Classic PS2 title full of childhood nostalgia. Hard to rate after all this time, but I would recommend it to anyone not familiar with the series.

The one MMO that's genuinely different. Great in so many varied aspects. Good for both idling and active play, retains feel of adventure and world.

Portal 2 (2011) - Rated 16 Sep 2026

Campaign and story went too far into comedy while puzzle quality decreased. Co-op in custom maps is the game's highlight.
