Scanner Sombre
At just over 2 hours, this starts to overstay it's welcome about half-way through. The central gimmick of the scanner is good, but doesn't feel like the dev's could ever find anything truly exciting to do with it. An early cheap jump scare builds a tension that is then never released again, since nothing else really happens bar some 'distant cave screams'. Storyline felt like it was building nicely, but is then finishes on what feels like a very amateur note, and the failure to completely explain itself comes across as bad storytelling rather than confidently mysterious.
Might be worth it for a few quid just to enjoy the basic LIDAR system, but otherwise a disappointing experience in the overall.
