A Feast for Odin

A viking themed worker placement where you hunt, whale, raid, explore, and (as the title suggests) feast. Players gather use actions to gather resources so they can cover their player boards (and optionally cover houses they built or islands they explored). 2-4 players compete with a variety to strategies to earn points or you can play solo to see just how far you can push your limits.

This may take the cake as my favorite worker placement game. So many different viable strategies. Rather than fighting to increase player interaction which many worker placements do, so many different actions are offered that the one constant of worker placement which is blocking spots greatly decreases (for the better in my opinion). Once you get it turns fly by and your mind can focus on the puzzle laid before you. Incredibly satisfying to have your strategy click even if you don't win. A+
