A Plague Tale: Requiem

In true sequel fashion this game is extra everything, and sometimes that's cool and sometimes it's a bit too much. Not in the same league as its predecessor but still very solid.

Expands on the groundwork of the original, though not always for the better, and ends up a less streamlined experience. The fantastical setting aside, I wasn't too keen on parts of the story being less grounded than its predecessor. That said, some beats were really good, especially the ending, though that was immediately lessened by the ensuing epilogue. The vistas of medieval Provence are gorgeous, and the soundtrack is once again good, though didn't stand out as much to me this time.
